The human knowhow can be defined using plenty of things, but at the same time, none would ever do that job better than its tendency to expand on a consistent basis. This tendency of getting better, no matter the situation, has brought the world some huge milestones, with technology emerging as quite a major member of the stated group. The reason why we hold technology in such a high regard is, by and large, predicated upon its skill-set, which guided us towards a reality that nobody could have ever imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, if we look beyond the surface for one hot second, it will become abundantly clear how the whole runner was also very much inspired from the way we applied those skills across a real world environment. The latter component, in fact, did a lot to give the creation a spectrum-wide presence, and as a result, initiated a full-blown tech revolution. Of course, the next thing this revolution did was to scale up the human experience through some outright avenues, but even after achieving a feat so notable, technology will somehow continue to bring forth the right goods. The same has turned more and more evident in recent times, and assuming one new automotive-themed development ends up with the desired impact, it will only put that trend on a higher pedestal moving forward.
Hankook Tire America Corp, a leading global tire maker, has officially announced the launch of the Kinergy XP, which expands the company’s already well-known Kinergy line of products. According to certain reports, Kinergy XP is the first product in Hankook’s portfolio which has been designed for compact, medium, and large cars, as well as high-performance SUVs. This versatility doesn’t just show up in terms of the tire’s compatibility with different vehicle sizes, but it also shows up when we talk about its promise to thrive under different weather conditions, including rain and light snow. Mind you, by that, we aren’t referring to an ability of just getting through the conditions, but we are also touching on a pledge to maximize cabin comfort, as well as longevity of the tire. Talk about Hankook’s latest brainchild on a slightly deeper level, it brings an advanced silica technology which promises to significantly improve wet handling by 6 percent and wet braking by 2 percent, compared to its predecessor. These enhancements, although they might not seem like much due to their single digit quotient, should go a long way when the agenda is to facilitate a seamless performance under rainy weather. Having discussed rain, we now must get into the product’s prospects in a snowy weather. You see, coming decked up with increased sipe density, 3D sipes, and beveled edges on shoulder grooves, Kinergy XP should go one step ahead of its predecessor by scaling up snow acceleration at a 15 percent clip and snow braking at an estimated 14 percent clip, respectively. Next up, we must acknowledge how the tire leverages Corvex Tread Radius Technology to provide even tread wear, high flexible materials to maintain flexibility, along with an optimized foot shape. To inform you on the concrete difference that such a technology can make, it will extend the treadlife to a point where the stated element is lasting for almost 20 percent longer than what we, thus far, have observed in the context of Hankook’s other products. Rounding up the core highlights is how Kinergy XP will use knurling technology, expanding shoulder grooves, and optimized multi-pitch sequencing to reduce tread pattern noise. This reduction, on its part, will be five percent better off than again any other company has succeeded in delivering so far.
Among other details, we must mention that the all-new Kinergy XP will be available, beginning from January 2024, in 41 different sizes, ranging between 16 and 20 inches. In case your ideal size doesn’t fall within the stated range, then it might be worth mentioning that Hankook does plan on conceiving more sizes at some point down the line. However, few things that the company will actually bring at launch itself will include a road hazard warranty, 30-day-free trial, and a 75,000-mile limited treadwear warranty.
“All-season tires need to perform reliably in a variety of weather and road conditions,” said Rob Williams, President of Hankook Tire America Corp. “Our latest all-season Grand Touring tire, Kinergy XP is designed to do just that – with improved wet and snow braking performance. In addition to these handling enhancements, drivers can look forward to enjoying a more comfortable and quiet ride with longer treadlife that we’re backing with a 75,000-mile warranty.”
Founded back in 1941, Hankook Tire America Corp. has risen up to a point where it can be called a genuine leader of the U.S. tire market. These products cover complete line of high-performance and ultra-high-performance passenger tires, light truck and SUV tires, medium truck tires, and bus tires etc. Hankook’s excellence in getting you the stated value proposition can be understood once you consider it has also been named as Forbes Global 2000 company.
